Utah forecast: Warm along the Wasatch Front..

Get ready for a pleasant weekend along the Wasatch Front and a scorcher in St. George.

The National Weather Service is predicting that temperatures in Salt Lake City will reach the mid 80s on Saturday under sunny skies and will drop to about 60 overnight. Sunday is expected to be a little warmer, with the thermometer reaching the upper 80s. The low once again will dip to about 60 degrees.

Temperatures in Provo should reach the mid 80s on Saturday and the low 90s on Sunday, with lows both nights in the upper 50s, according to the weather service. The forecast calls for both weekend days to be sunny.

Skies in Ogden and the rest of the northern Wasatch Front are predicted to clear in the afternoon and remain sunny on Sunday. Highs around 80 on Saturday and the mid 80s on Sunday are predicted, with lows from the upper 50s to 60.

The temperature in Logan should hit the upper 70s to lower 80s during the weekend and cool off to the mid to upper 40s at night, the weather service says. Highs in Park City are predicted to be in the upper 70s to 80 on Saturday and Sunday, with lows in the low 40s.

Temperatures St. George and Zion National Park are expected to climb to about 101 degrees on Saturday, 103 on Sunday and 105 on Monday. Lows should be in the 70s, the weather service said, and skies are predicted to be sunny all three days.
