Salida, Colo. • Authorities are looking for a 31-year-old Utah woman who was tossed from a raft in the Arkansas River near Salida and swept downstream by the swift current.

The Chaffee County Sheriff's Office says Amanda Taylor, of Vernal, Utah, was with six others when the raft overturned as it went over a diversion dam Saturday night. Five people in the group made it to shore, and authorities rescued a 22 -year-old man who was found clinging to the overturned raft.

The search for Taylor was called off Saturday night because it was too dark, but it resumed Sunday morning.
