The tradition of honoring the late Larry H. Miller in a sport he loved will continue next week. The Pioneer Days Men's Fastpitch Softball Tournament was reinstated last year as a tribute to Miller, a longtime player and sponsor of softball. The event will staged again July 11-13 at the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex at 1300 East and 4300 South.

Admission is free. Top out-of-state teams include the California A's, who finished sixth in last year's world tournament, and the Pueblo Bandits of Colorado. Locally, entrants include Browning, Page Brake and Granite Bakery.
