Summit County searchers believe they found the body of a missing Provo man in the mountains east of Kamas Sunday.

Eduardo Rodriguez was reported missing June 23, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Office. By 1 p.m. Saturday, someone found his vehicle, a 2003 Nissan Frontier, on Upper Setting Road.

Rescue dogs and the Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter helped in the search.

As of 12:25 p.m., searchers had found in the area a body preliminarily identified as that of Rodriguez and it was sent to the state medical examiner.

"Summit County sends its deepest condolences to the Rodriguez family and a special thanks to the volunteers who assisted in the search," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

Details on a possible cause of death were not immediately released.
