A Magna woman was critically injured early Monday when the compact car she was in rolled off a frontage road near Interstate 15 in south Davis County.

Sheriff's Sgt. Susan Poulsen said the accident occurred at 12:24 a.m. when a southbound white Dodge Caliber left the road near 500 South in North Salt Lake, rolled several times through a fence and ejected one of two occupants, 22-year-old Paula Florez.

She was rushed to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, where she was listed in critical condition.

Tyler Cotter, 21, of Salt Lake City, also was taken to IMC. He was in serious condition.

Poulsen said alcohol and speed were believed to have been factors leading to the crash.
