Letter: LDS women too busy to whine | The Salt Lake Tribune

Ordain Women do not speak for me or the majority of LDS women. I do not want any "favor" or "consideration" that is a result of the campaign by these women who refuse to accept church doctrine.

Don't these women have enough to do? Why don't they use their time to help with some of the many outreach programs the church sponsors? Many other churches and organizations sponsor humanitarian missions to parts of the world; however, there is much left to do.

The LDS women I know are very busy teaching in the ward, helping in the community, caring for children and grandchildren, doing family history work, attending the temple, helping neighbors, studying scriptures and other subjects, and going to school, not to mention their own personal projects. Many are in the workforce.

Maybe some day when my children and grandchildren are all well and all the work the Lord has asked me to do is finished, I might, just might, find some subject of no consequence to pick at and go whine to the general authorities.
