Letter: Take Kirby with 'grain of salt'

Anyone who is a dedicated Kirby reader, as I am, takes all of his clever writing with "a grain of salt!"
He pokes fun at everyone and everything, including his own Mormon faith.
I have not had the pleasure of meeting him in person but I admire him greatly.
If he had actually shot a dog, I guarantee it was to save a life, probably a child.
