Salt Lake Bees: Tacoma's quick start dooms Bees in 14-7 loss

Tacoma's Jesus Montero homered and drove in four runs Tuesday night to lead the Rainiers to a 14-7 victory over Salt Lake at Smith's Ballpark.

Abraham Almonte led off the game with a home run and the situation went quickly downhill for Bees' starting pitcher Justin Thomas (4-8). He allowed nine runs and 10 hits in just 2 1/3 innings.

Luis Jimenez and Shawn O'Malley homered for the Bees, who trailed 14-1 after the Rainiers scored five runs in the top of the fifth.
