NBC premieres a couple of sitcoms tonight, and they're not bad. Not great, but not bad. They're actually better than several of the sitcoms that will debut in the fall.

Welcome to Sweden (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) is about an American who follows his girlfriend to her home country and suffers culture shock - and suffers through her family's skepticism.

Working the Engels (8:30 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) is a showcase for Andrea Martin ("SCTV"), who plays the oddball mother of three oddball, adult children. They have to band together when their shady husband/father dies and leaves them his failing law practice.

Defiance (6 and 9:05 p.m., Syfy): Datak is determined to regain control of his family business.

Dominion (7 and 9:05 p.m., Syfy): A powerful Vega senator demands the Chosen One's secret identity be made public.

Hollywood Game Night (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Celebrity contestants are Margaret Cho, Scott Wolf, Matthew Morrison, Martha Stewart, Mena Suvari and Curtis Stone.

Big Brother (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Another houseguest is evicted.

Rookie Blue (8 and 9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Andy helps Sam with a missing-person case.

Gang Related (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Carlos plots to seize power from Javier and take over Los Angelicos.

NY Med (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Dr. Oz returns to deal with the case of a motorcycle cop who suffers a mysterious stroke.

Last Comic Standing (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The contestants visit "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Rectify (10 p.m., Sundance): Daniel loves the anonymity of being in Atlanta.
