A Spanish Fork traffic stop led police to three arrests and seizure of a large cache of marijuana and other drugs from both a suspect's car and home.
Spanish Fork police Lt. Matt Johnson said a male suspect's car was pulled over about 5:30 p.m. Monday, and a subsequent search turned up 60 pounds of packaged marijuana. That prompted police to obtain a search warrant for the suspect's residence in southwest Spanish Fork.
At the home, police seized another 26 pounds of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, illegal mushrooms and Ecstasy.
The street value of the marijuana alone was estimated at $35,000.
Johnson said a 9-month-old child at the suspect's home was taken into custody by the Department of Child and Family Services.
Along with the 32-year-old suspect, 37- and 33-year-old men were arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail on suspicious of multiple felony drug possession and distribution counts, as well as child endangerment.
