Evanston, Wyo. • Fly For McKoy broke alertly and raced to a narrow victory in the $7,500 allowance feature on Saturday afternoon at Wyoming Downs.

Owned by Elizabeth Johnson and trained by Travis Offret, Fly For McKoy covered 350 yards in 18.327 seconds to earn the winner's share of $4,500.

Fly For McKoy was sent off at odds of 5-to-1 and prevailed by a hard-fought neck over 4-to-1 shot Bullys Mr. Roger. Country Smoke, the 9-to-5 favorite in the wagering, finished one-half length back in third.

Racing at Wyoming Downs resumes Sunday at 1:05 p.m. The $16,600 Wyoming Thoroughbred Futurity highlights the card.
