A woman was critically injured Sunday in a downtown Salt Lake City rollover.

Just after 10 a.m., the woman was driving eastbound on 300 South when she crashed into three parked cars near 470 East, said Salt Lake City police Lt. Mike Ross. The impacts caused her van to roll, and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police are still looking into why she crashed. Two of the parked cars were extensively damaged, while the third only suffered minor damage, Ross said.

The street, from 400 East to 500 East, remains closed until the afternoon while investigators clear the scene.
