A bomb threat at a Kaysville convenience store forced the evacuation of multiple commercial buildings near 200 North and Main Street for several hours Monday, but authorities later said no explosives were found.

Authorities closed traffic through the intersection after a bomb threat was reported at a 7-Eleven, dispatchers reported. Other buildings at the intersection include a Walgreens drug store, AutoZone and Dylan's Drive-in, but dispatchers did not know how many buildings were evacuated.

By 8 p.m., the area had been cleared for people to return, according to city officials.
