Letter: Americans generous to a fault

People in foreign countries must think that America and Americans are the most generous people in the world. America gives millions of dollars in foreign aid to South American countries. Grateful, they in turn send their women and children through our borders.

America sends millions of taxpayers' money to Israel and to the Palestinians so that they can lob missiles at each other.

As of late, America sent millions of dollars to Ukraine so that they will favor the European Union over Russia. As a thank you, they shoot down a passenger airplane and fill their pockets with the dead passengers' possessions.

America has sent suitcases full of dollars to Iraq and Afghanistan in order to bring democracy to the region, enough money to have Muslim factions fight each other to the death like they have done for thousands of years!

Yes, sir. America is very generous to foreign countries. Too bad we cannot be generous to our working poor and buy them affordable health care.
