Fire shuts down freeway lanes in Utah County

A brush fire near Santaquin has shut down part of Interstate 15.

Northbound I-15 is closed at mile marker 242 — just south of the Utah County city — due to the fire, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. The closure is expected to last at least an hour.
