Weeks after replicas appeared in stores, Utah was finally able to give its newest Under Armour uniforms the red-carpet treatment.

Well? Hot or not?

The new threads arrived just in time for head shots, and players (with a range of enthusiasm) gave the mountain theme a thumbs-up at the Eccles Football Center on Wednesday.

The white and black versions of the uniforms haven't arrived, we were told.

After their mug shots, players posed in front of a green screen for player introduction videos. If it has ever struck you that they seem on the verge of giggling during these videos, it's because they are. Teammates — some waiting their turn, others just enjoying the show — huddle 5 feet away making requests and cackling while the players make their "intro poses" and a camera wheels around them.

The video folks don't do retakes, and they do not give "intro pose" tips. They have a long line of players to get through, so get through it they do.

Wednesday's media day standout goes to sophomore tackle J.J. Dielman, who opted for the stony game face and didn't flinch while being ridiculed by peers.
