Utah's weekend forecast? Sunny. Though it only seems like yesterday our lives were filled with rain. Come Saturday, though, the bright days are here.

Yes, it's the kind of forecast the late Motown legend Marvin Gaye would soulfully sing about.

The Wasatch Front, so often awash this past week as monsoonal moisture brought thunderstorms and rain showers to the region, will be clear and warm. High temperatures are predicted to hover near 90 degrees.

Southern Utahns also expect sunny, clear skies ahead with the mercury climbing into the mid- to upper-90s.

The Utah Division of Air Quality rated Salt Lake, Davis, Utah and Weber counties as "yellow," or compromised for air quality. The remainder of the state was in the "green," or healthy category heading into the weekend.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed chenopods as "very high" and mold "high," while other allergens were graded "low" on the pollen index as of Friday.
