Saturday's Major League Soccer game between Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders FC is NOT in the evening. It's a 12:30 p.m. game. It's also not on local TV because (gasp!) it's on a national outlet - the NBC Sports Network. That's Channel 695 on Comcast; Channel 220 on DirecTV; and Channel 159 on Dish. And, by the way, this is a Really Big Game. The winner will be in first place in the Western Conference. If Seattle wins, it will maintain its lead in the overall standings; if RSL wins, it will be at least tied for first in the overall standings.By the way, this is a big weekend for soccer. The English Premiere League opens play for the 2014-15 season, and NBC Sports will either telecast or stream every game. Here's this weekend's EPL schedule (all Mountain Daylight times):SATURDAY5:45 a.m.- Manchester United vs. Swansea City (NBCSN)8 a.m. - Leicester City vs. Everton (NBCSN)8 a.m. - Stoke City vs Aston Villa (Premier League Extratime - streaming)8 a.m. - Queens Park Rangers vs. Hull City (Premier League Extratime - streaming)8 a.m. - West Brom vs. Sunderland (Premier League Extratime - streaming)8 a.m. - West Ham vs. Tottenham (Premier League Extratime - streaming)10:30 a.m. - Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace (NBC/Ch. 5)SUNDAY6:30 a.m. - Liverpool vs. Southampton (NBCSN)9 a.m. - Newcastle United vs. Manchester City (NBCSN)MONDAY1 p.m. - Burnley vs. Chelsea (NBCSN)Friday on TV ...The Knick (8, 9 and 10 p.m., Cinemax): Thackery orders the hospital superintendent to round up more cadavers.Girl Meets World (7:45 p.m., Disney): Riley tries to help Maya mend her relationship with her mother.Saturday on TV ...Doctor Who: The Ulimate Companion (7 p.m., BBC America): A look back at the history of "Doctor Who."Outlander (7, 8 and 9 p.m., Starz): Claire is introduced to the laird. The Real History of Science Fiction (8 p.m., BBC America): A look at time travel in science fiction includes "The Time Machine," "The Grandfather Paradox," "The Butterfly Effect" and "Doctor Who."Hell On Wheels (10 p.m., AMC): Cullen goes back to work on the railroad.Saturday on TV ...Big Brother (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Nominations for eviction are announced.Rising Star (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): It's the semifinals. The Musketeers (7 p.m., BBC America): The Musketeers are attacked when they try to get Queen Anne back to Paris. The Witches of East End (7 and 9 p.m., Lifetime): Joanna and Alex try to find the Mandragora.
