Utah State coach Matt Wells is calling on Aggie fans to fill the lower bowl Saturday when the Aggies scrimmage at 6 p.m. at Romney Stadium. The scrimmage is the highlight of the day for Aggie fans, who can participate in the Football Family Fun Day which starts at 5 p.m. "Saturday's scrimmage is going to be a big deal for us to get out in front of all the fans," he said. "Hopefully we can get that whole lower bowl filled in. I'd like to do that and give them a show on offense and defense." With a young offensive line and secondary, Wells said the coaches are still evaluating players individually. "It's also evaluating what we're doing on offense and defense and maybe tweaking it a little bit to our strengths," he said. "There's still some schematic tweaking here and there." Safety Frankie Sutera starred for the defense Friday, getting an interception and breaking up three passes. Brian Suite also had three pass breakups. Wells was happy with the effort overall, noting one side of the ball isn't dominating the other consistently. "Coaches get frustrated because their sides of the ball don't play perfect in certain drills or a certain session of practice and vice versa, but as a head coach and trying to look at it from a big picture, there's been really good give and take on both sides."
