Utah's gymnastics team not only is one of the best in the country, but the smartest too. The Utes boasted a GPA of 3.78827, the highest GPA of any collegiate gymnastics team in the country it was announced on Tuesday. Texas Woman's University was second with an average of 3.76. Southern Utah was sixth with a 3.5947 GPA. "We take a great deal of pride in the fact that our team consistently excels both in the classroom and in the gym," Utah coach Greg Marsden said. The Utes recently completed some upgrades in their practice facility, installing landscaping outside the Dumke Gymnastics Center and replacing old equipment.
