Letter: Reagan also played golf after tragedy

I wonder if Derek Lee ("America doesn't need a golfer-in-chief," Aug. 22) remembers that his Republican lord and savior Ronald Reagan went golfing the day after 241 U.S. Marines were killed in the bombing of their barracks in Beirut, Lebanon. Probably not.

I do not condone his typical tea party mentality, but I do question why your editor would even think for a moment to printing his Fox Noise garbage. No wonder the Salt Lake Tribune is in trouble.
