Lou Borgenicht made a good point in his letter to the editor ("Climate change is a moral issue," August 28). Are we that naive to think that the effects of climate change are imaginary or will suddenly abate, or is the real issue that no one wants to bear the cost of what needs to be done to protect our future and the future of our children? I always believed that hope was not a strategy. I guess there are many who do.
