Police were investigating Thursday after a person was shot in Ogden.

Few details were available Thursday evening about the shooting, but authorities confirmed that one person was shot at a RiteAid parking lot, located at 851 24th St., in the late afternoon.

Lt. Danielle Croyle said Thursday evening that the 35-year-old Latino male victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police were still searching for the shooter Thursday evening. Croyle said a white sedan was seen leaving the area "at a high rate of speed" after the shooting.

A witness told KUTV that shots were fired after what looked like an argument between several men in the Ogden parking lot.
