Posted: 1:50 PM- ST. GEORGE - Barack Obama's presidential campaign has opened a second office in Utah.

The campaign said Thursday that the second office is in St. George, where staff and volunteers hope to draw in southern Utah voters before the Feb. 5 primary.

Obama was the first Democratic candidate to open a campaign office in traditionally Republican Utah. There has been a Obama office in Salt Lake City since December.

Campaign officials say the response they've gotten in Utah so far is encouraging enough that they added the second regional office.
