Twitter notes from the Jazz's NBA draft workout Monday, which included former Washington State guard Klay Thompson and ex-Colorado guard Alec Burks.Thompson doesn't think past drug issues will affect him possibly being drafted by Jazz and playing in a small market such as Salt Lake City.Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said Utah will talk to Thompson about his drug issue, and will have to determine whether the incident was isolated or not.Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said Thompson's past drug issues won't prevent Utah from drafting him.Thompson said NBA teams are "smart" and he knows that he can't subvert the system.Burks and Thompson have mutual respect for each other and have worked out together three previous times. Burks joked that each will say they got the best of each other during the Jazz workout. Burks hasn't seen anyone shoot as well as Thompson. Thompson said his draft stock is rising because of the strength of his all-around game.Burks said his shot is coming along. He is very confident in his ability to drive to the basket and score, and was influenced by Jamal Crawford.O'Connor mentioned trading down during the draft, but the response came during a general answer. He joked that the only untouchable on the Jazz's roster is Greg Miller.O'Connor said the Jazz are listening to and talking to teams, but it's the normal pre-draft process.O'Connor acknowledged that early first-round picks are very fluid.O'Connor said he woke up the day the Jazz drafted Deron Wiliams thinking there was a five-percent chance of trading up. Utah did just that.

O'Connor acknowledged that former San Diego State forward Kawhi Leonard was supposed to work out for the Jazz. O'Connor said it was likely that Leonard believes he won't be taken with Utah's No. 3 and 12 picks and will instead be selected somewhere between the two choices, which is why he canceled his Jazz workout.

O'Connor said the Jazz could use former coach Jerry Sloan as a background resource. O'Connor didn't say it like it was a reality, though. He just acknowledged that it was a possibility.O'Connor said the Jazz don't have an update on center Mehmet Okur's rehabilitation.
