The Salt Lake Tribune occasionally presents images from its archives and the archives of the Utah State Historical Society in a special series called A Look Back. Today we showcase a set of photographs recently donated to the Tribune by Nancy Martin, of Chapel Hill, N.C. She lived near the Ute reservation from 1934-1955. These photos were made by her grandfather, Robert L. Marimon, Sr., who homesteaded in the area in the early 1900s.
