Jay Magure, vice president of government relations at 1-800-CONTACTS, dressed in a Girl Scout uniform on Friday, the result of a bet gone bad. Magure bet that Joe Zeidner, general counsel for the privately held company headquartered in Draper that sells contact lenses, couldn't sell 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Maqure lost and had to wear a regulation uniform to deliver the boxes, accompanied by his two granddaughters. How did Zeidner sell so many? After the bet was made, he put out the word at the company's headquarters and sold his boxes in four hours, 1-800-CONTACTS said.
