Here's my story on the news coming out of West Texas, where Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints leader Warren Jeffs is set to go to trial in 18 days (!)

Will this late-in-the-game lawyer switch up push back the trial? Who knows. The judge, Barbara Walther, is on vacation, so she hasn't ruled on the motion yet, the court clerk told me. His new attorney, Emily Detoto, hasn't filed any motions to delay anything yet, so we'll see what's next. One thing about this story, it's never dull.
