The Utah Transit Authority's two new TRAX lines — Mid-Jordan and West Valley City — began operating Sunday, almost doubling the miles of track and more than doubling the number of cars in service.

Some things that UTA users should keep in mind Monday include:

• Most Salt Lake Valley bus routes have changed due to expanded TRAX service. For maps and schedules, go to rideuta.com.

• A printable Salt Lake Tribune map of the expanded TRAX system is available at bit.ly/TRAXmap.

• TRAX is now color-coded: red line (U. to South Jordan), green line (West Valley to Salt Lake Central), blue line (Sandy to Salt Lake Central).

• A regular one-way adult fare for UTA buses and TRAX is $2.25. For more rates, including monthly pass rates, go to rideuta.com.
