After reaching the final four in Rolling Stone's "Do You Wanna Be A Rock & Roll Star" contest, Orem-based atmospheric rock band Fictionist has won the real prize: a record deal with esteemed major label Atlantic Records.
Join the quintet for an emotional celebration of the record-signing deal at one of the band's favorite places, Velour.
The band is Stuart Maxfield on lead vocals and bass, Robbie Connolly on lead guitar, Brandon Kitterman on rhythm guitar and synthesizers, Jacob Jones on keys, and Aaron Anderson on drums.
The band said it plans on releasing a six-song EP this fall, with a full-length album on Atlantic Records sometime in 2012.
