Navajo Rug Show and Sale at Deer Valley

Benefit • Organized by Adopt-A-Native Elder Program, proceeds from Nov. 11-13 sale go to weavers.

The 22nd annual Navajo Rug Show and Sale will be Nov. 11-13 at the Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley Resort in Park City.

The show is organized by the Adopt-A-Native Elder Program as a way for the general public to learn about the Navajo culture and provide some income for the weavers. Proceeds from the sale of all rugs goes back to the weaver. More than 700 rugs will be on display.

The event opens Nov. 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. with light food, refreshments and live entertainment. A live auction will be held between 8 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children under 12 and can be purchased at the door.

Entry to the show the rest of the weekend is $5 or $5 worth of donated canned goods. Call 435-649-0535 for more information.
