The statue is of a mother and child and was placed in Sunrise Meadow Park in Saratoga Springs in honor of two people killed in a home explosion several years ago, said Corporal Shane Taylor. It was stolen on Oct. 19.
The statue is between 12 and 18 inches tall and weighs between 75 and 100 pounds. It is valued at $4,000.
