I'm getting ready to fly home for the Thanksgiving holiday next week, but looking forward, there's one big thing on the horizon: Wednesday is the slated release date for a ruling on whether Canada will legalize polygamy.
Here's my story on the case from January, when most of testimony and evidence in the case wrapped up (though this bombshell came later. At least it looked like a bombshell back then, before bigger shells dropped during the Warren Jeffs trial in Texas.)
Canadian media, including the Vancouver Sun and the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., have of course had much more in-depth coverage on the case, and will get their hands on the ruling a little early.
And in a very cool 21st Century move, the Attorney General of British Columbia has made all the documents filed in the case into a massive Google doc trove. Check it out here, it's fascinating. (The Canadian Polyamory Advocacy Association originally created the database).
