The Pac-12 announced Tuesday that senior right-side hitter Shelby Dalton made the conference's first team, the first Ute to do so since the program joined the Pac-12 in 2011.

Dalton, also an All-Academic first-teamer, averaged 2.8 kills per set and hit .276, and also had 94 blocks and 119 digs.

"Shelby carried a huge load both offensively and defensively, often matching up with and controlling opponents' top hitters," said Utah head coach Beth Launiere in a release.

Senior middle blocker Bailey Bateman also earned an honorable mention, and freshman outside hitter Adora Anae was named to the All-Freshman team.

The No. 20 Utes will meet Kansas State for a first-round NCAA Tournament match 3:30 p.m. Friday in Lincoln, Neb.
