Other scheduled events include the Best-of-the-West Elk-Calling Contest with $5,000 in cash and prizes, a fly-casting pond, Dutch-oven cooking classes and a youth fair.

The expo opened Thursday and continues noon-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State St.

Admission is $12 for ages 16 and older; ages younger than 16 get in free.
