The Utah Renaissance Festival & Fantasy Faire kicked off its month-long run this weekend in Weber County.

The fair opened Friday, continued Saturday and will be open Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Its run continues each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through May 24 in Marriott-Slaterville at 3105 W. Pioneer Road (400 North).

The event is a step back in time and into fantasy where visitors can mingle with minstrels, fairies, pirates and gypsies while browsing vendors selling leather goods, wooden toys, pottery, jewelry and more.

Admission is $12. Ages 6-12 get in for $6. Ages 5 and younger get in free.
