Directions • A kiosk marking the trailhead is in the parking lot for the amphitheater in campground loop C. You can also reach the trailhead from any of the campground loops by walking southwest on the path along the river.
This is a good short but challenging hike offering panoramic views of the park. From the trail head, follow the paved path along the Fremont River. At about four-tenths of a mile, the trail leaves the river and begins ascending. The next half of the trail will have you panting, but the reward is the overlook above the river and the valley below plus scenes in the distance. If you want to see more, continue hiking to the next viewpoint. DestinationOverlook
