Actor Mandy Patinkin, folk-rock duo Indigo Girls, trumpeter Arturo Sandoval and comedian-turned-musician Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers and Edie Brickell are just some of the high-profile guests who will perform alongside the Utah Symphony during the 10th annual Deer Valley Music Festival.
The summer series kicks off June 29 with a performance of "1812 Overture!" and ends Aug. 10 with a tribute to the Rolling Stones. In between,the symphony will celebrate 50 years of Agent 007 with memorable tunes from the James Bond franchise and offer a night of John Denver music. (See schedule.)
Also returning is a night of hits with Utah Opera.
Concerts are held at various locations, including the Deer Valley Snow Park outdoor amphitheater in Park City.
In addition, the festival will feature:
• An instrument petting zoo on the plaza before the John Denver tribute concert, at which audience members can play various musical instruments provided by Summerhays Music.
• Three chamber orchestra concerts at St. Mary of the Assumption Church will feature Utah Symphony performances of the Schubert Symphony No. 5 conducted by former Utah Symphony music director Keith Lockhart; Mozart's "Prague" Symphony; and a program featuring Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and Utah Symphony principal cello Ryan Selberg on Dohnányi's Concert Piece for Cello.
• Three Chamber Ensemble performances will feature string chamber music with The Muir Quartet; a program of solo and chamber works by Utah Symphony musicians including pianist Jason Hardink, flutist Mercedes Smith, cellist Matt Johnson, concertmaster Ralph Matson and pianist Jerry Steichen; and a program with the Skyros String Quartet and Battery String Quartet.
• Utah Symphony | Utah Opera's Tenth Anniversary Gala on July 5 with Blues Traveler performing at the gala after-party.

Here's how to get tickets for the Deer Valley Music Festival concerts.
Now • Design-A-Series packages and group tickets available at Abravanel Hall ticket office, 801-533-6683 (NOTE)
March 23 • Single-tickets for Summit County residents available 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Park City Visitors Center.
March 25 • Single tickets go on sale to the general public at deervalleymusicfestival.org and through arttix.org or 801-355-2787. Youth discounts available for select performances. Ticket prices increase $5 when purchased the day of the performance.
