Utahns for Independent Government, a political action committee connected to Reagan Outdoor Advertising, has spent over $113,000 on the Salt Lake City mayor's race.

According to a Tuesday filing with the Salt Lake City Clerk's Office, the PAC has raised $124,445. Reagan Outdoor Advertising contributed $105,000 of that.

The PAC has put up billboards for all four of Mayor Ralph Becker's challengers. Jackie Biskupski's candidacy received the best support, with at least 15 billboards.

Salt Lake City law states that any individual, organization or company can give a maximum of $7,500 to a candidate in the mayor's race. But PACs can spend an unlimited amount as long as it is not in coordination with a candidate.
