Having spent the night in more than one cold tent at hunting camp, I often toyed with the idea of setting up a heater. Concern about fumes always prevented me from doing so. The Hot Vent HP set me at ease. The heater stays outside the tent while hot air is pumped in through a flexible hose. The HP uses two 16-ounce propane canisters and requires a 12-volt battery to operate the blower. The whole thing comes in a hard-sided storage kit. A less-expensive model is available as a one-burner. The HP retails for $219.95 and is available in a variety of sporting goods stores or at http://www.zodi.com. - Brett Prettyman
