Janet Jackson says she won't be playing Utah this weekend

It sounds like Janet might have had a vocal-cord malfunction.

Janet Jackson says she will not play the Utah stop on her "Unbreakable World Tour" this weekend.

Jackson was scheduled to play Saturday at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, but she tweeted Friday night that she would not.

"Hey you guys, I must rest my vocal chords," her tweet states. "Doctor's orders... Will be rescheduling Salt Lake and Denver. Keep your tickets! Back to Burn Up Kansas City. Gon B Alright. #Unbreakable."

Jackson released her newest album, "Unbreakable," on Oct. 2.
