A man robbed the Chase Bank in Washington City on Friday morning.

At around 10:30 a.m., the suspect approached a bank teller and demanded money. He was given money and left the bank, Ed Kantor of the Washington City Police said in a press release.

No one was injured, Kantor said.

Witnesses, who saw no weapon displayed, described the suspect as a middle-aged, heavy-set white man with an unshaven face, a blue baseball cap, tan shirt and khaki shorts. He was around 5 feet, 10 inches tall, according to the press release.

Police said the suspect's vehicle may be an old soft-top Jeep Wrangler with Nevada plates. Local law enforcement agencies are investigating the robbery with the assistance of the FBI.

The Washington City Police Department has asked anyone with relevant information to call the dispatch center at (435) 634-5730 or the local FBI.
