Orem police are asking the public to help them identify a man wanted in connection with several recent burglaries.

In a video dated Aug. 5 and distributed by police Wednesday, a man wearing a flat-brimmed trucker hat and a hooded sweatshirt is seen furtively glancing around a laundry room.

The man has allegedly broken into the laundry room coin machines of several apartment buildings on the south end of town, said Orem Police Lt. Craig Martinez.

The man is between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-foot-3-inches tall and weighs between 170 and 210 pounds, according to police.

Orem police have urged anyone with information about the burglaries to call dispatch at 801-229-7070. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
