Rock Hill, S.C. • Police in South Carolina say a toddler got ahold of a gun and shot and killed himself.

York County Coroner Sabrina Gast tells local media outlets that 3-year-old Savion Barrow of Rock Hill died at a local hospital after the shooting Sunday afternoon. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.

Police say no charges have been filed in connection with the death although the investigation is continuing. Police did not immediately say what kind of gun was involved or how the child may have gotten ahold of it.

A police report said that a 10-year-old girl and at least four adults were at the home at the time of the shooting.

Rock Hill is about 70 miles north of Columbia.
