The Salt Lake City Police Department has asked the public to help apprehend three men who allegedly committed a series of burglaries between May and July.

The suspects have targeted the parking garages of apartment buildings downtown and in the Avenues neighborhood, according to police. Once inside, they've broken into bicycle storage units and stolen bikes and tools.

Security camera footage from May 28 shows the three men burglarizing the parking garage of the Brigham Apartments at 201 E. South Temple. The men enter the garage in a blue Ford Focus hatchback and grab bikes from a storage room.

The blue Ford has been tied to two other burglaries, police say.

Police urge anyone with information about the burglaries to call (801) 799-3000. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous may text the keyword TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to 274637. Reference, case numbers: 14-85988, 14-99087, 14-117287.
