Gold medal skier Picabo Street was arrested last month under suspicion of assaulting a relative.

Street, 44, was arrested at her Park City area home on Dec. 23, Summit County Sheriff's Sgt. Ron Bridge confirmed Tuesday night. Bridge could not immediately speak to the details of the case, except that the alleged assault occurred at her home and involved a male family member who was treated at the scene and did not require transportation to the hospital.

Street, a part-time Park City resident, won a gold medal in Nagano in 1998 and was a Fox Sports analyst for the 2014 Olympic Games.
