NFL playoffs continue this weekend with a pair of games on Saturday and two more on Sunday.

On Saturday, it's Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (2:35 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) and Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals (6:15 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5). On Sunday, it's Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers (11:05 a.m., Fox/Ch. 13) and Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos (2:20 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2).

Also on Sunday, Showtime premieres a pair of new series. We haven't seen anything of "The Circus: The Greatest Political Show on Earth" (9 and 9:30 p.m., Showtime) — a weekly series about the current presidential election cycle — but after hearing the show's producers talk about it … I'm not encouraged.

And "Billions" (11 p.m., Showtime) is a muddled, disappointing new series that's centered on the conflict between tough U.S. Attorney and a billionaire hedge-fund manager. It wants to be great TV, but it's pretty darn dull.
