Jim Cummings' "Thunder Road" is the Short Film Grand Jury Prize winner for the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, it was announced Tuesday night.

The short-film honors were handed out at a ceremony Tuesday night at Jupiter Bowl in Park City. The awards were given out by the members of the Short Film jury: MTV chief film critic Amy Nicholson, Amazon Studios development executive Gina Kwon, and comedian/actor Keegan-Michael Key. The jury watched the 72 short films selected for this year's festival from 8,712 submissions.

Short Film Jury Award: International Fiction • "Maman(s)," by Maïmouna Doucouré (France).

Short Film Jury Award: Non-fiction • "Bacon & God's Wrath," by Sol Friedman (Canada).

Short Film Jury Award: Animation • "Edmond," by Nina Gantz (U.K.)

Short Film Special Jury Award for Outstanding Performance • Grace Glowicki, "Her Friend Adam."

Short Film Special Jury Award for Best Direction • Andrej Hudecek, "Peacock" (Czech Republic).
