The Pac-12 men's basketball tournament moves to the semifinals on Friday, and while the Utes have to play in the later game they're on the channel a lot more people can see.
Second-seeded Utah faces No. 3 seed California at 9:30 p.m. on FS1, after No. 1 seed Arizona takes on No. 4 seed Oregon at 7 p.m on P12N.
The Pac-12's championship game is Saturday at 8 p.m. on FS1.
Also on Saturday, the Mountain West plays their championship game (4 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) but Utah State has been eliminated so local interest is pretty much non-existent.
And on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. on ESPNU, it's the Big Sky championship game. Top-seeded Weber State has to beat No. 5 seed North Dakota in Friday's untelevised semifinal to make it to the title game against the winner of No. 2 seed Montana vs. No. 3 seed Idaho.
On Sunday, it's the "NCAA Tournament Selection Show" (3:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) which expands to two hours this year. Hopefully, that means fans won't have to wait longer to find out where Utah is going and who the Utes are playing.
When that show ends, its the "NIT Selection Show" (5:30 p.m., ESPNU), which should be of interest to BYU fans.
