After a soggy Saturday, the clouds break on Sunday before more rain and snow sweeps into the state.

Starting Sunday night and lasting through Tuesday night, a second storm from the Pacific Ocean will bring more valley rain and mountain snow, according to the National Weather Service. The northern and central mountains could see "significant accumulations of snow," while the western valleys could see a mix of both rain and snow on Tuesday as well.

On Sunday, Salt Lake City can expect a high temperature of 62, followed by 60 degrees on Monday. St. George can expect highs of 78 and 62, respectively.

The first, prolonged storm across northern Utah on Saturday brought "quite impressive" rainfall amounts, with many places along the Northern Wasatch Mountains receiving more than 2 inches, according to the weather service. Parrish Creek, in some places, received more than 4 inches.
